Went to Ion Orchard with the interns today to get Qiuling's BB fixed. The 2 girls happily bought the same BB over the weekend and were showing off to everyone. KNS!


But it's ok... I still love my iphone! At least, the buttons are pressable and there is no mouse! and that I can control the way I scroll around the screen in a much easier method.


So anyways, no issues la.. I just went to go see see with them. We took a cab to Ion and the stupid taxi driver seems not to know his way there. Damn KNN lor! Instead of taking Nicole Highway, think he went by the Sims way there.. and we were like ???????????? huh?!?!?!@??


Then QiuLing said very loudly " AUNTIE! YOU DUNNO HOW TO GO TOWN ISSIT????" And the taxi driver argued back to say that that is the ONLY way to town. KNS! then He insisted that this way wun jam. OUR FEET! IT BLOODY JAMED and the ride cost us 10 bucks and took about 15mins. Might as well take bus rite?! DAMN ANGRY~


And there was the question about the taxi driver's gender as well. Though he looked like a guy and his name seems male, qiuling insisted that it's an auntie. WEIRD!!! But anyways, that's beside the point. Stupidity does not discriminate base on gender.


I saw the iphone covers that sister bought at the starhub shop at ION orchard!!!!! So excited! And they have both the red and white covers and its so nice and new! Wanted to buy them both but Janice was like "so ugly....." which totally killed my joy and we left the shop without getting any.



And then we went for lunch. Has wanted to have the tori Q at taka... but we decided to try out the food at the food court instead. And we realised that everything was so darn expensive! How do those people working in Ion eat?!?!



ha gao - $4 for a long


We saw the auntie pushing the push cart around and decided to get ha gao........ I tot it might be 2, max 3 but turns out to be bloody 4 bucks! But at least the dumplings are huge! and the prawns are relatively fresh. So ok la

The thing that we do not feel happy paying is the nasi padang that me and qiuling eat la! It does really look yummy on the shelf and display but the servers are kinda not trained in English. We were asking them what is some malay dish about and they kept either 1) repeating the name of the dish which was like DUH! we can read, we just want to know what meat is it! or 2) think that you want to order it and started asking if you want the dish. WA PIANG EH!!! sibei sian.... And I was standing around for 10mins and waiting for someone to take my order even though I was second in line after Qiu Ling and there were 2 servers. WTF?


Anyways, the worst of the worse part was the price...



mine......... a totally not worth $8.90

Qiu Ling's meal which amounted to 10 freaking bucks!!!


Food was so-so only some more! Oh well....... I guess it;s the location la... then we were talking bout the deco of the foodcourt, which was pretty artistic for a foodcourt and felt that we were paying for all those lor with the totally unjustified pricing of the food. KNS!
Bottom line is, dun eat at Ion Orchard. Unless it's for special occasions, or u are feeling especially generous. And please do invite me to dinner as well :)
